Educational Qualification & Experience

  • Scientific Officer (B):
    • Full-Time Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Zoology, or Fisheries Science with 60% marks.
    • Minimum 1-year experience working in a laboratory animal facility.
  • Administrative Assistant (B):
    • Graduate degree with 55% marks.
    • 5 years of experience in Accounts/Purchase/Stores/General Admin.
    • Proficiency in word processing/database/accounting procedures.
  • Assistant Security Officer (A):
    • Graduate degree with 55% marks and an NCC ‘C’ Certificate OR Advanced Civil Defence Course Certificate.
    • 5 years of security experience in Level 5 or above.
    • For Ex-Servicemen: Graduate degree and JCO or equivalent rank (Level 6+) OR 3 years as NCO (Level 5+).
  • Clerk (A):
    • Graduate degree with 50% marks.
    • Knowledge of typing and computer applications (with certificate).
    • Minimum 1-year experience in clerical duties.
  • Laboratory Assistant (B):
    • (Air Conditioning): NTC/NAC in Air Conditioning trade with 60% marks and 1-2 years of experience.
    • (Biology/Chemistry): H.S.C. (12th) with 60% marks and 2 years of lab experience.
    • (Welder): NTC/NAC in Welder (G&E) trade with 60% marks and 1-2 years of experience.
  • Work Assistant (Technical):
    • [Painter/Fitter/Mason]: S.S.C. (10th) pass OR NTC in the respective trade. Requires 1-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Work Assistant (Auxiliary):
    • S.S.C. (10th) pass.
    • Minimum 1-year experience.
  • Security Guard:
    • S.S.C. (10th) pass.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in Defence/CAPF/Security work.
    • Firefighting/NCC/Civil Defence/Home Guard training certificate required (not applicable for Defence/CAPF candidates).
  • Project Scientific Officer (C):
    • Full-time B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 60% marks.
    • 0-3 years of experience.
  • Project Laboratory Assistant (B) [Fitter]:
    • NTC/NAC in Fitter trade with 60% marks.

Age Limit (as on July 01, 2025)

  • Maximum 28 years: Scientific Officer (B), Clerk (A), Laboratory Assistant (B), Work Assistant, Project Scientific Officer (C), Project Laboratory Assistant (B).
  • Maximum 33 years: Administrative Assistant (B).
  • Maximum 35 years: Assistant Security Officer (A).
  • Security Guard: Max 28 years for UR, Max 33 years for ST.
  • Clerk (A) (Reserved): Max 31 years for OBC, Max 28 years for EWS.
  • Laboratory Assistant (B) (Reserved): Max 31 years for OBC, Max 28 for EWS.
