Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), India’s largest power generation equipment manufacturer is an Engineering and Manufacturing company owned by the Government of India. As per notification of Board of Apprenticeship Training (Southern Region), BHEL provides Apprenticeship Training to fresh Engineering Degree Holders & Diploma Holders for one year under the provisions of the Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973. There is no obligation on the part of BHEL to offer employment or preference in employment to the Apprentices who are so trained or no obligation on the part of the apprentice to take up employment in the company. - Engineering Degree Apprentice: Rs. 6000/- Per Month from the Date of Joining
- Diploma Apprentice: Rs. 6000/- Per Month from the Date of Joining
- Engineering Degree Apprentice: B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology / Civil / Chemical Engineering
- Diploma Apprentice: Engineering Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology / Civil / Modern Office Practice
Age Limit: Between 18 and 27 years as on 24/10/2018. A relaxation of 5 years is admissible to SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates in the upper age-limit. In the case of physically Challenged persons, a relaxation of 10 years is admissible in the upper age-limit.
