MDL Graduate Apprentice Recruitment 2023: 170 Openings in Engineering and Non-Engineering Fields

Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL) has launched the MDL Graduate Apprentice Recruitment 2023, a significant initiative for young graduates. This apprenticeship program offers 170 vacancies in both engineering and non-engineering fields. It presents an exceptional opportunity for BE/BTech graduates in Civil, Computer, Electrical, Electronics & Telecommunication, Mechanical, Shipbuilding, and Naval Architecture. Additionally, it’s open to candidates with BCA, BBA, Bachelor of Social Work, or Bachelor of Event Management degrees. The selected apprentices will be stationed at Mazagaon, Mumbai, receiving a monthly stipend of ₹9,000. This program not only offers practical experience but also a foothold in the PSU sector.

The selection process for the MDL apprenticeship is designed to identify meritorious candidates through a combination of academic and personal excellence. Selection will be based on a combined merit list, considering 80% of qualification marks and 20% of interview marks. This ensures a fair and comprehensive evaluation of candidates’ potential. The age criterion for applicants ranges from 18-27 years, with age relaxations applicable as per Government of India rules. Importantly, there’s no application fee, lowering the barriers for entry. The application window is set from 22nd December 2023 to 11th January 2024, marking a crucial period for graduates aspiring to kickstart their career with MDL, a leading shipbuilding company in India.
