Salary / Pay Scale for MPCZ Assistant Engineer
The candidates selected as Assistant Engineer in any of the State Power Sector Companies of Madhya Pradesh Central Zone (MPCZ) will be appointed at Pay Matrix Level-12 of Government of M.P. (7th pay revision) with initial pay of ₹ 56,100/- as per Govt. of M.P. Energy Department.

Educational Qualification/ Eligibility Criteria for MPCZ Assistant Engineer
A candidate must possess below mentioned educational qualification in order to be eligible for the post of Assistant Engineer in the State Power Sector Companies of Madhya Pradesh Central Zone (MPCZ) –
- Assistant Engineer/ Manager (Technical/ Distribution/ Transmission/ Electrical)-Trainee: Regular BE/ B.Tech or AMIE Degree in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- Assistant Engineer/ Manager (IT)-Trainee: Regular BE/ B.Tech or AMIE Degree in IT/ Computer Science Engineering (CSE)
- Assistant Engineer/ Manager (Civil)-Trainee: Regular BE/ B.Tech or AMIE Degree in Civil Engineering
All the above mentioned Degrees must be obtained from an AICTE/ UGC approved University/ Institute with minimum 65% marks (or equivalent CGPA) for UR/ OBC category or 55% marks (or equivalent CGPA) for SC/ ST/ PWD/ EWS category of M.P. Domicile.
The candidate must also have a valid GATE Score card in the relevant stream as on 10.04.2023.
Age Limit for Assistant Engineer Posts in MPCZ
The age limits (as on 01.01.2023) specified by MPMKVVCL for Assistant Engineer posts in the State Power Sector Companies of M.P. Govt. are as follows:
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 43 years
Relaxation in upper age limit for the candidates belonging to various reserved categories will be applicable as per Madhya Pradesh Government norms.
Selection Process for Assistant Engineer Posts in Madhya Pradesh Central Zone (MPCZ)
Selection of the candidates for the post of Assistant Engineer in the State Power Sector Companies of Madhya Pradesh Central Zone (MPCZ) will be done on the basis of merit of Valid GATE Score Card. The shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification. After verification of documents, successful candidates will be provisionally appointed as Assistant Engineer (Trainee).
