North Eastern Space Applications Centre (NESAC) is an autonomous body set up under the joint initiative of Department of Space (DOS), Government of India and the North Eastern Council (NEC). Its main function is to expedite the usage of remote sensing technology to discover natural minerals uncovered in the North-Eastern states of India. Candidates are invited by NESAC for appearing in Walk-In-Interview for recruitment to 110 posts of Project Assistants under a project titled ‘Geotagging of assets created under NERTPS Programme of Central Silk Board’ sponsored by Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India. Candidates who have completed their Graduation in any discipline or B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / IT / Other Engineering Branches are eligible.

Apart from above, the candidates will also get Additional incentives such as an amount of Rs. 250/- will be given to the Project Assistant for successful completion of geotagging of each asset.

Educational Qualification: The candidates should be having Graduate degree in any discipline or Diploma in any Engineering subject from a recognized university / Institute obtaining minimum aggregate of 45% marks. The candidates should have basic Computer knowledge. Operation of the Smart phones and Internet will be prerequisite criteria for selection of the candidates. Energetic and tech-savvy candidates will be preferred considering the job requirement.
