Educational Qualification/ Eligibility Criteria for Nuclear Fuel Complex Multiple Posts Recruitment 2023

B.E / B.Tech from a recognized university in Computer Science/ Engineering/ Technology/ Electronics Engineering/ Electrical Engineering & Other Relevant Engineering branches with minimum 60% marks.
Prior experience is not mandatory. However, candidates with experience in any one of the following areas/ fields are preferred. 1) Programming in Java/ .Net/ PHP/ Python/ ReactJS/ Anular/ NodeJS. 2) Database/ Application Server Administration 3) IT Infrastructure, Cyber Security/ Computer Networking 4) System Administration & Shell Scripting.

Age Limit for Various Posts Specified by Nuclear Fuel Complex

As per the notification given by Department of Atomic Energy, the Upper Age limit (as on 10.04.2023) specified for various posts in Nuclear Fuel Complex are as follows:

  • Chief Fire Officer: 40 years
  • Technical Officer (Computers): 35 years
  • Deputy Chief Fire Officer: 40 years
  • Station Officer: 40 years
  • Sub-Officer: 40 years
  • Driver-cum-Pump Operator-cum-Fireman (DPOF): 27 years

Relaxation in upper age limit for the candidates belonging to reserved categories will be applicable as per Government norms.

Selection Process for Various Posts in Nuclear Fuel Complex

Selection of the candidates for the posts of Chief Fire Officer, Deputy Chief Fire Officer, Technical Officer (Computers) and Station Officer will be done through Personal Interview.

For the posts of Sub-Officer and Driver-cum-Pump Operator-cum-Fireman, the candidates will have to clear the following three stages:

  • Stage-1: Physical Standards and Physical Assessment Test
  • Stage-2: Preliminary Test
  • Stage-3: Advanced Test

In addition, Command Test will be conducted for the post of Sub-Officer in the first stage.
