The National Water Development Agency (NWDA) has published the NWDA Multiple Posts Recruitment 2023 notification for recruitment to the posts of Junior Engineer (Civil), Junior Accounts Officer, Draftsman Grade-III, Upper Division Clerk, Stenographer Grade-II and Lower Division Clerk. The selected candidates will be appointed on Regular basis & will get an opportunity to work with the Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India.

Educational Qualification/ Eligibility Criteria for NWDA Multiple Posts Recruitment 2023
The educational qualification required for various posts notified by National Water Development Agency (NWDA) are mentioned below –
- Junior Engineer (Civil)
Essential: Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University or equivalent.
Desirable: Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University or equivalent.
- Junior Accounts Officer
Essential: i) Degree in Commerce from a recognized University/ Institute.
ii) Three year experience in Cash and Accounts in a Government Office/PSU/Autonomous Body/ Statutory Body.
Desirable: Candidates having CA/ ICWAI/ Company Secretary will be preferred.
- Draftsman Grade – III
ITI Certificate or Diploma in Draftsman ship (Civil) from a recognized Institution / University.
- Upper Division Clerk
Essential: Degree of a recognized University.
Desirable: Knowledge of Computer operating systems, MS Word, Office, Excel, Power Point & Internet.
- Stenographer Grade – II
Essential: 12th Class passed from a recognized Board/ University. Skill (Shorthand) Test (on Computer) at the speed of 80 wpm.
- Lower Division Clerk
Essential: i) 12th Class passed from a recognized Board; and
ii) A typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer.
Desirable: Knowledge of Computer operating systems, MS Word, Office, Excel, Power Point & Internet.

Selection Process for Various Posts in National Water Development Agency (NWDA)
Selection of the candidates for various posts notified by National Water Development Agency (NWDA) will be done through the following stages –
- OMR based Written Test
- Document Verification
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
For the post of Stenographer Grade-II & Lower Division Clerk, the candidates will have to appear in the Skill Test (Shorthand/ Typing), which is a qualifying in nature.
Application Fees for NWDA Multiple Posts Recruitment 2023
Candidates belonging to General, OBC & EWS category are required to pay an Application Processing Fee of ₹ 890 + GST + Bank Charges, whereas the Application Fee for the candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwBD category will be ₹ 550 + GST + Bank Charges only.
