Salary / Pay Scale for TSPSC Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector
Candidates selected as Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector in Transport Department, Government of Telangana will be appointed in the Scale of Pay of ₹45,960 – 1,24,150/- as notified by Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC).

There are total 113 no. of vacancies notified by TSPSC for the post of Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector in Transport Department, out of which 54 vacancies are in Multi Zone-I and 59 vacancies are in Multi Zone-II.
Reservation of vacancies for various categories will be applicable as per Government of Telangana norms.
Educational Qualification / Eligibility Criteria for TSPSC Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector
Candidates must possess the requisite qualifications as mentioned below for being eligible for the post of Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector.
- Must hold a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering or equivalent qualification of a University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or a Provincial Act or a State Act or institution recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
OR
- Must hold a Diploma in Automobile Engineering (3 years course) awarded by any institution recognized by the Central Government or State Government approved by the AICTE, New Delhi.
AND
- Must hold a valid Driving License authorized to drive Heavy Motor Vehicles (Transport Vehicles).
Provided further in case of women, they must hold a Motor Vehicle Driving License. If they are holders of Light Motor Vehicle Driving License only, they shall acquire the Heavy Transport Vehicle Endorsement within two years of their joining the service as Assistant Motor Vehicles Inspector, failing which their services will be terminated without assigning any reasons.
Age Limits notified by TSPSC for Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector
For TSPSC Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector Recruitment 2023, the candidates should possess the Minimum age of 21 years & Maximum age of 39 years i.e. the applicant should not be born before 02.07.1983 and should not be born after 01.07.2001.

Selection Process for Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector by TSPSC
Selection of the candidates for the posts of Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector will be based on marks secured by them in the Written Examination as well as fulfillment of Physical Requirements. The candidates who qualify in the Written Examination will be called for Certificate Verification in the order of merit.

All the applicants are required to pay ₹200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only) towards Online Application Processing Fee.
Apart from the above, applicants have to pay ₹120/- (Rupees One Hundred and Twenty Only) towards Examination Fee also.

- All Employees of any Government (Central / State / PSUs / Corporations / Other Government Sector) have to pay the prescribed examination fee.
