1.Administrative Officer in Central Sheep Breeding Farm, Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.

2. Scientist ‘B’ (Toxicology) in Central Forensic Science Laboratory, Directorate of Forensic Science Services, Ministry of Home Affairs.

3. Assistant Legislative Counsel (Grade-IV of Indian Legal Service) in Legislative Department, Ministry of Law and Justice.

4. Psychologist in Directorate General of Employment, Ministry of Labour & Employment.

Salary / Pay Scale: 

  • Administrative Officer : Level-10 in the pay matrix as per 7th CPC. General Central Service, Group ‘A’, Gazetted Non-Ministerial.
  • Scientist ‘B’ (Toxicology) : Level-10 in the pay matrix as per 7th CPC. General Central Service, Group ‘A’, Gazetted Non-Ministerial.
  • Assistant Legislative Counsel (Grade-IV of Indian Legal Service) : Level-11 in the pay matrix as per 7th CPC. The post is Group ‘A’, Gazetted and belongs to Grade-IV of Indian Legal Service.
  • Psychologist : Level-7 in the pay matrix as per 7th CPC. General Central Service, Group ‘B’, Gazetted Non-Ministerial.

Educational Qualification: 

Administrative Officer : Bachelor’s degree of a recognized University or equivalent.

Scientist ‘B’ (Toxicology) : Master’s Degree in Chemistry / AIC by examination / Biochemistry / Pharmacology / Pharmacy / Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects at Bachelor of Science level from a recognized University.

Assistant Legislative Counsel (Grade-IV of Indian Legal Service) : A person shall not be eligible for appointment by direct recruitment to a duty post in Grade IV, unless he holds a Degree in Law of a recognized University or equivalent and unless he has been a member of a State Judicial Service for a period of not less than seven years or has held a superior post in the legal department of a State for a period of not less than seven years or a Central Government servant who has had experience in legal affairs for not less than seven years or possesses a Master’s Degree in Law and has had teaching or research experience in Law for not less than five years or is a qualified legal practitioner of not less than 30 years. Note-I: Preference shall be given to a person with experience in legislative drafting. Note-II: In computing the period during which a person has held any office in the State Judicial Service or in the Legal department of a State or under the Central Government, there shall be included any period during which he has held any of the other aforesaid offices or any period during which he has been a legal practitioner; Note-III: In computing the period during which a person has been a qualified legal practitioner, there shall be included any period during which he has hold any office in the State Judicial Service or has held a superior post in the legal department of a State or has been a Central Government servant having experience in legal affairs. Note-IV: ‘Qualified legal practitioner’ means an advocate or a pleader who has practiced as such for at least seven years, or an attorney of the High Court of Bombay or Calcutta who has practiced as such for at least five years or has practiced as such attorney and an advocate for a total period of at least five years.

Psychologist : Master’s Degree in Psychology of a recognized university or equivalent.

Experience (If Any): 

  • Administrative Officer : Five years experience of Administration, Accounts and Establishment work in Government Offices at a supervisory level.
  • Scientist ‘B’ (Toxicology) : Three years experience of analytical methods and research therein in the field of Toxicology in any Central Government or State Government organization or recognized research institute or Forensic Science Laboratory under the Central or State Government.
  • Assistant Legislative Counsel (Grade-IV of Indian Legal Service) : As mentioned above in educational qualification column.
  • Psychologist : Three years experience in the application of psychological technique or counselling, guidance rehabilitation / training / teaching of handicapped persons.

Age Limit: 

  • Administrative Officer : 35 years
  • Scientist ‘B’ (Toxicology) : 35 years
  • Assistant Legislative Counsel (Grade-IV of Indian Legal Service) : 40 years
  • Psychologist : 30 years
