WAPCOS Contract Engineer Recruitment 2023 - Notification Details
WAPCOS, a government of India undertaking, has announced the WAPCOS Contract Engineer Recruitment 2023. The recruitment drive aims to fill 400 vacancies for the post of Contract Engineer. The Contract Engineers will be hired for a specific period to work on various ongoing projects. This is a great opportunity for engineering graduates who want to work in the public sector.
To be eligible for WAPCOS Contract Engineer Recruitment 2023, candidates should have a bachelor’s degree / diploma in engineering from a recognized university. Additionally, candidates should have experience in the relevant field. Candidates who meet these educational qualifications can attend the walk-in interview scheduled from 3rd March to 5th March 2023. The selection process will consist of a personal interview, and the final selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in the interview.
WAPCOS offers attractive remuneration packages for its employees. The Contract Engineers will be offered a consolidated pay of ₹ 20,000 to ₹ 35,000/- per month, which is subject to an annual increment. Additionally, the selected candidates will be eligible for other benefits such as medical insurance, provident fund, and gratuity. Educational Qualification/ Eligibility Criteria for Contract Engineer in WAPCOS Limited
In order to be eligible for the post of Contract Engineer in WAPCOS limited the candidate must possess a Degree in Civil Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university Or 03 years Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university/ board.
Apart from the above, candidates are required to have Field Experience as mentioned below & their post codes will be decided accordingly.
Contract Engineer (Post Code – 001)
- For B.E./ B.Tech: Minimum 01 year experience in formulation/ implementation of water supply projects.
- For Diploma holder: Minimum 03 years’ experience in formulation/ implementation of water supply projects.
Contract Engineer (Post Code – 002)
- For B.E./ B.Tech: Minimum 05 year experience in formulation/ implementation of water supply projects.
- For Diploma holder: Minimum 08 years’ experience in formulation/ implementation of water supply projects.
Age Limit for WAPCOS Contract Engineers
As per the notification given by WAPCOS Limited, the Maximum Age limit (as on 01.11.2022) for Contract Engineers are as follows :-
- Contract Engineer (Post Code – 001): 30 years
- Contract Engineer (Post Code – 002): 35 years
