Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI) is a Government of India Organisation working under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). It has its headquarters in Kochi, Kerala. The institute has three regional centres and eight research centres across India. Applications from eligible candidates are invited by the ICAR CMFRI for recruitment to the posts of Field Assistants & Senior Research Fellow for the recruitment year 2020. Any Bachelor’s Degree Holder i.e. B.A / B.SC / B.COM / B.C.A / B.B.A / B.E. / B.Tech or MSc Degree holders in relevant subjects are eligible for this recruitment.

Salary / Pay Scale: Details of Pay Scale Are As Under –
- For SRFs: Rs. 31,000/- + HRA per month in the first two years and Rs. 35,000 + HRA for the third year
- For Field Assistants: Rs. 18000/- + HRA per month
Total Vacancy: 06 Vacancies for SRFs and 02 Vacancies for Field Assistants.
Educational Qualification: Details of post wise educational qualification requirements are as under –
- For SRFs: M.Sc. in Marine Biology / Zoology/Life Sciences or M.F.Sc.; Should have NET qualifications and 2 years of research experiences.
- For Field Assistants: Graduate degree in any discipline
Experience (If Any): Not compulsory i.e. Freshers Can Apply.
Age Limit: 35 years for men and 40 years for women (age relaxation applicable for OBC/SC/ST candidates as per GOI norms)
Selection Process: Interview.
