Educational Qualification / Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Steno in CRPF
Candidates must have passed Intermediate (10+2 or equivalent Exam from a board or university recognized by Central or State Government).
- Skill Test [On Computer (For Assistant Sub Inspector (Steno)]:
- Dictation: 10 minutes @8O words per minute.
- Transcription: Time 50 minutes in English or 65 minutes in hindi on computer.
Age Limit For CRPF ASI Steno Recruitment 2023
For ASI Steno post in CRPF, Candidate must be in the age group of 18-25 18-28 years as on 25.01.2023 31.01.2023.
Relaxation details for various reserved categories are provided below –
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- Ex servicemen: 3 years after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age as on the closing date.
- Central Government Servants: who have rendered not less than 3 years regular/ continuous service as on closing date are eligible upto the age of 40 years for General/EWS candidates, 43 years for OBC candidates and upto 45 years in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST.
- Children and dependent of victims killed in the 1984 riots or communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat (Un-reserved): 5 Years
- Children and dependent of victims killed in the 1984 riots or communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat (OBC): 8 Years
- Children and dependent of victims killed in the 1984 riots or communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat (SC/ST): 10 Years.
