Salary / Pay Scale for CSL Executive Trainee
The salary and pay scale offered by Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) for the position of Executive Trainee are highly attractive. During the training period of one year, a consolidated monthly stipend of ₹50,000/- is paid. If extra training hours are needed, an additional stipend of up to ₹3,000/-pm is also provided.
After successful completion of the training, trainees are considered for appointment as Assistant Managers with a pay scale of ₹40000-3%-140000. They also receive Industrial Dearness Allowance, HRA, Perks, and various other benefits as per company rules. The CTC per annum at the minimum of the E1 scale is ₹13.0 Lakh.

Age Limit for CSL ET Recruitment 2023
The upper age limit for all the posts is 27 years, but CSL provides relaxations for various categories. OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates have a relaxation of 3 years, while SC/ST candidates receive a relaxation of 5 years for the posts reserved for their categories. Also, the age relaxation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) is as per Government of India guidelines.
Selection Process of Executive Trainee (ET) in Cochin Shipyard Limited
CSL Executive Trainee Recruitment 2023 selection process is a two-phase procedure. Phase-I comprises an Objective Type Online Test that carries 60 marks. Candidates who clear this phase move on to Phase-II, which includes Group Discussion, Writing Skills, and a Personal Interview, collectively carrying 40 marks.
