Notification Overview for CSL Ship Draftsman Trainee Recruitment 2024
Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), a premier Miniratna Schedule ‘A’ company, has announced the recruitment of Ship Draftsman Trainees in the Mechanical and Electrical disciplines. A total of 64 positions are available, with 46 for Mechanical and 18 for Electrical. Candidates must have a three-year diploma in the relevant field with at least 60% marks and a flair for Draftsmanship, along with proficiency in CAD.
The selected trainees will undergo two years of training, with a stipend of ₹14,000 per month in the first year and ₹20,000 in the second year. The training includes a performance evaluation at the end of the first year, and successful candidates may be considered for contractual positions at CSL. The recruitment process includes an objective type online test followed by a practical test in CAD software. Applications are open from 14th August to 31st August 2024.
