Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), a government owned Military Research organisation has published a recruitment notification for recruiting Engineers & Physics / Chemistry Post Graduates. Candidates will be selected through Walk In Interview and selected candidates will be posted as Junior Research Fellows in DRDO’s Terminal Ballistics Research Laboratory, Chandigarh. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering i.e. B.E. / B.Tech or M.E. / M.Tech Degree holders in Mechanical Engineering or M.Sc Degree Holders in Physics / Chemistry can attend the walk in Interview.

Salary / Pay Scale: Candidates will be paid Rs. 31,000/- Per Month Plus Allowances As Per Prevailing Rules.

Educational Qualification: Discipline Wise Details of Educational Qualification Are As Under –

  • Mechanical Engineering: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering in Ist Division With NET / GATE Score OR M.E. / M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering in Ist Division both ate Graduate and Post Graduate Level.
  • Physics / Chemistry: Post Graduate in Physics / Chemistry in Ist Division with NET.

Experience (If Any): Freshers Are Eligible.

Age Limit: Upper age limit is 28 years which is relaxable by DRDO as per rules.

Selection Process: Selection of candidates will be through walk in interview. Schedule for walk in interviews is given in the table above. 

Application Fees: Rs. 10/-. However, SC / ST / OBC Candidates are exempted by from payment of application fees.
