Salary / Pay Scale for DSSSB Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)
Candidates selected as Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) will be appointed in the Pay Scale of ₹ 9300-34800 + Grade Pay 4800/- Group: ‘B’ as per the details given by Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB).

Reservation of posts for various categories will be applicable as per Govt. of NCT of Delhi norms.
Educational Qualification / Eligibility Criteria for DSSSB Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)
Candidates, in order to be eligible for appearing in the selection examination organised by DSSSB for the post of PGT Economics-Female, must have the following essential qualification.
1) Master’s Degree in the subject concerned from any recognized University.
2) Degree / Diploma in training / Education.
“Qualification mentioned at S.No.2 above will be relaxable in the case of candidates.”
- Having obtained Ph.D Degree in the subject concerned from a recognized University/ Institution.
OR
- Having obtained First Division in Higher Secondary, Degree and Post Graduate Examination with the Mandatory condition that the candidate will acquire the B.Ed. / B.T. qualification within a period not exceeding three years from the date of his joining the service.
Age Limit for PGT Posts Notified by Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB)
The upper age limit for Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) as notified by DSSSB is 36 years.
Relaxation in the upper age limit will be applicable as per the details given below:-

Selection Process for Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) Notified by DSSSB
Selection of candidates for the post of PGT Economics-Female shall be made through One Tier Examination scheme organised by Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB).
