The Indian Navy has announced the (10+2) B.Tech Cadet Entry Scheme for 2024, inviting applications for the post of Officer Cadet. This prestigious program is an opportunity for young aspirants to join the Indian Navy and serve the nation. A total of 35 vacancies are available for candidates who have passed the Senior Secondary Examination with a minimum of 70% aggregate in PCM and 50% in English. Eligibility also includes candidates who appeared for the JEE (Main) – 2023 exam. During training, cadets will receive a stipend, and upon completion, they will be commissioned as Sub Lieutenants with a salary in the 7th Pay Matrix Level 10, ranging from ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500.

Successful applicants will be called for the Service Selection Board (SSB) on the basis of their JEE (Main) All India Common Rank List (CRL) – 2023. Salary / Pay Scale	During the training period, cadets will receive a fixed stipend. Upon completion of training, the cadets will be absorbed into regular services, where they will be entitled to a salary as per the 7th Pay Matrix Level 10. This translates to a monthly salary ranging from ₹56,100/- to ₹1,77,500/-, equivalent to the old pay band ₹15,600-39,100/- with a Grade Pay of ₹5400/-.
