The eligibility criteria for the Driver position at ISRO LPSC requires the candidate to have passed the 10th standard, in addition to holding a valid driving license and relevant experience. Age Limit for ISRO LPSC Driver Recruitment 2023
The age limit for applying to the Driver post at ISRO LPSC is set at a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 35 years as on 30.05.2023. There are provisions for age relaxation for candidates from certain categories.
If you’re an SC/ST candidate, you can avail a relaxation of 5 years, and OBC candidates are entitled to a 3-year relaxation on the upper age limit for posts reserved for them. Age relaxation for other categories will be as per the Government of India’s rules.
Selection Process of Driver in ISRO LPSC
The selection process for the Driver post in ISRO LPSC includes a Written Test followed by a Skill Test. The written test, spanning 120 minutes, will contain 100 objective type questions, each offering one mark for the correct answer. Be careful, though, as a negative marking system is in place, deducting 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.
Candidates who pass the written test will be shortlisted for the skill test. This skill test, conducted on a ‘go-no-go’ basis, won’t have its marks considered for the final selection. To qualify, candidates must score at least 60% on a 100-point scale.
Application Fees for ISRO LPSC Driver Recruitment 2023
For the application process, a fee of ₹ 500/- is to be paid by all applicants. However, after appearing in the written exam, other candidates will be refunded ₹ 400/-, making the effective application fee ₹ 100/-.
