Eligibility Criteria for JSSC Inter Level Exam 2024
- Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens.
- Domicile: Candidates must be local residents of Jharkhand. They need to provide a valid domicile certificate issued on or after 02nd June 2016.
- Age Limit: The age limit varies based on the category:
- Unreserved/EWS: 18 to 35 years
- BC-I/BC-II (Male): 18 to 37 years
- Female (UR/EWS/BC-I/BC-II): 18 to 38 years
- SC/ST: 18 to 40 years
- PwD Candidates: Age relaxation of 10 years is applicable for candidates with benchmark disabilities of 40% or more.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a 10+2/Intermediate certificate from a recognized board/institution. They should also have basic computer knowledge and Hindi typing skills.

Exam Pattern and Syllabus of JSSC Inter Level
The JSSC Inter Level Exam 2024 will be an OMR-based written examination conducted in a single stage. The exam will consist of three papers:
Paper 1 (Language Knowledge):

- Total Marks: 120
- Qualifying in Nature: Candidates must score at least 30% in this paper to qualify. The marks obtained in this paper will not be considered for merit list preparation.

- Hindi Language Knowledge: 60 Questions (20 Questions based on Hindi Unseen Passage and 40 Questions on Hindi Grammar)
- English Language Knowledge: 60 Questions (20 Questions based on English Unseen Passage and 40 Questions on English Grammar)
Paper 2 (Tribal and Regional Language):
- Duration: 2 hours
- Total Marks: 100
- Choice of Language: Candidates can choose one language out of the provided list of regional and tribal languages of Jharkhand (Hindi/English/Urdu/Santhali/Bangla/Mundari/Ho/Kharia/Kurukh/Kurmali/Khortha/Nagpuri/Panchpargania/Odia/Sanskrit).
- Question Type: 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) from the chosen language.
