The North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO) has published the NEEPCO Graduate Apprentice Recruitment 2023 notification for engagement of Graduates in Engineering and General Stream as Graduate Apprentices. The period of Apprenticeship training for Engineering Graduates will be one year and for General Stream Graduates, it will be two years. This is a very good opportunity for the candidates belonging to North East India to start their career with a Schedule –‘A’ “Mini Ratna” Category-I Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, Government of India.

Educational Qualification/ Eligibility Criteria for NEEPCO Graduate Apprentice
A candidate must possess following essential qualification specified by North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO) for being eligible for the post of Graduate Apprentice:-
- Graduate Apprentice (For Engineering Graduates): BE or equivalent Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by a Statutory University or an Institution empowered to grant such degree by an Act of parliament.
- Graduate Apprentice (For Non-Engineering Graduates): Graduate or equivalent in General Streams such as B.A., B.Sc. & B.Com. etc. (other than engineering / technology) of minimum three years duration granted by a Statutory University or an Institution empowered to grant such degree by an Act of parliament.
Age Limit for Graduate Apprentice posts by NEEPCO
The Age limits (as on 01.01.2023) notified by NEEPCO for Graduate Apprentice trainees are as follows:
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 28 years
Relaxation in upper age limit for the candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, PwD & Ex-Servicemen categories will be applicable as per Government of India rules.
Selection Process for Graduate Apprentices in NEEPCO
Selection of the candidates for Graduate Apprentice posts in NEEPCO shall be based on merit as per marks secured by them in Degree (for both Engineering and Non-Engineering Graduates).

Candidates are not required to pay any application fee for Graduate Apprentice posts in NEEPCO.
How To Apply for NEEPCO Graduate Apprentice Recruitment 2023
Step by Step process of application in North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO) for Graduate Apprentice posts is given below –
- Step-1: First of all, the candidates are required to enroll/ register themselves with Board of Practical Training (BOPT), through online enrolment from NATS Portal for Engineering Graduate Apprentices & from BOPTER Portal for Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentices and possess a valid enrolment ID generated after successful enrolment. Registration links are provided at the end of this notification.
- Step-2: The Candidates are advised to apply online and select any one NEEPCO establishment of their choice.
- Step-3: After submitting the online application, the applicant should download the NEEPCO Apprenticeship Application Form from the link given below & take a print-out of the same. Then, they will have to send the duly filled form along with self-attested scan copies in PDF format of the following relevant documents i.e. Pass Certificate, Marksheet, Age Proof (HSLC Certificate or Birth Certificate), Caste / PwD Certificate via email to the below mentioned Id.
- Step-4: Hard copies of the filled Application form along with documents/ testimonials is also to be sent by POST. The envelope should be superscribed with Advertisement Number, Post applied for in Block Letters & should be sent by ORDINARY POST only to the address given below and should reach within the specified deadline.
