NHPC Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2024 – Notification Summary
NHPC Limited, Tanakpur Power Station, a unit under the Ministry of Power, Govt. of India, has announced the recruitment of 64 Trade Apprentices for a one-year training program. Applications are invited from eligible candidates who have passed ITI in relevant trades. The vacancies are available in various disciplines, including COPA, Welder, Stenographer & Secretarial Assistant, Plumber, Electronic Mechanic, Electrician, Fitter, Mechanic (MV), Wireman, Turner, and Machinist. Interested candidates can apply online through the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal – www.apprenticeshipindia.org. The last date to enroll on the NATS portal is 30th May 2024.
The selection process will be based on the marks obtained in the ITI examination. In case of a tie, the older candidate will be preferred. Selected candidates will receive a stipend as per the Apprenticeship Act, 1961. The training duration is one year, and there is no provision for extension or employment in NHPC after the training. Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training are not eligible to apply. Preference will be given to candidates belonging to the Champawat District, followed by Uttarakhand State.
