National Institute of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj (NIRD&PR) is an autonomous Institute under the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India. Applications through online mode are invited by the NIRDPR for recruitment of 10 State Programme Coordinators, 250 Young Fellows and 250 Cluster Level Resource Persons. Selected candidates will receive up to Rs. 55,000/- as monthly salary. Total Vacancy: Total vacancies notified by the Institute are 510. Details of post wise vacancies are given below –  

Job Type: Temporary.

Tenure of Engagement of all the posts is one year for the present. It may be extended on satisfactory performance of the incumbents, subject to continuation of the Project and discretion of authorities. 

Job Location: All States and UTs

Salary / Pay Scale: Rs. Rs. 55,000/- Per Month for State Programme Coordinators, Rs. 35,000/- Per Month for Young Fellow & Rs. 12,500/- Per Month for cluster Level Resource Person.

Educational Qualification & Experience: Details of Post Wise Educational Qualifications  & Experience requirements are as under –

  • State Programme Coordinator: PG Degree in Economics / Rural Development / Rural Management / Political Science /  Sociology / Social Work / Development Studies and similar disciplines OR Engineering Degree (B.E. / B.Tech) & Five years’ first-hand experience of having worked on Capacity Building & Training, improving governance and participatory planning in respect of GPs
  • Young Fellow: PG Degree in Economics / Rural Development / Rural Management / Political Science /  Sociology / Social Work / Development Studies and similar disciplines OR Engineering Degree (B.E. / B.Tech)
  • Cluster Level Resource Person Graduate in any subject and a strong SHG background as a Group Leader for five years. 

Age Limit: 30-50 years for State Programme Coordinators, 25-30 years for Young Fellow and Upto 40 years for Cluster Level Resource Person. 

Selection Process: Selection of candidates will be through interview.
