Selection Process for SBI PO

SBI’s selection process for the PO post is exhaustive and ensures only the best make the cut. The process is divided into three phases. The first, a Preliminary Examination, is an online objective test for 100 marks. Those who clear this move to Phase-II, the Main Examination, which includes objective tests for 200 marks and a descriptive test for 50 marks.

The final hurdle is Phase-III, comprising a Psychometric Test, Group Exercise, and Interview. What’s essential to note is that candidates need to qualify in both Phase-II and Phase-III separately. And while the marks from Phase-I aren’t considered in the final merit list, those from Phase-II and III are combined to determine the final selection.

Application Fees for SBI PO

Financials matter, and SBI has set a fee structure for the application process. For General, EWS, and OBC candidates, the application fee is ₹750/-. In contrast, SC/ST/PwBD candidates are exempted, ensuring no monetary barriers for them.
