Educational Qualification / Eligibility Criteria for UKMSSB Nursing Officer
A candidate must possess following essential qualification mentioned by UKMSSB for direct recruitment to the posts of Nursing Officer:-
- B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing from a University/ Institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
OR
Regular course in B.Sc. (Nursing) from a University/ Institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
OR
Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) from a University/ Institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
OR
Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery/ Psychiatry from a University recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
- Must possess Registration Certificate of B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing or B.Sc. (Nursing) or Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) or General Nursing and Midwifery/ Psychiatry from Uttarakhand Nurses and Midwives Council or Indian Nursing and Midwives Council.
- Must have working knowledge of Hindi.
Age Limits for Nursing Officer Posts by UKMSSB
As per the notification given by UKMSSB, the age limits (as on 01.07.2022) required for the post of Nursing Officer are as follows:
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 42 years
Relaxation in upper age limit for the candidates belonging to various reserved categories will be applicable as per Uttarakhand Government norms.
Selection Process for UKMSSB Nursing Officers
A year-wise merit list will be prepared by Uttarakhand Medical Service Selection Board (UKMSSB) on the basis of percentage of total marks obtained by them in Degree/ Diploma and the candidates will be selected for the post of Nursing Officer according to that list giving the benefit of reservation to eligible candidates.
