ISRO RA Recruitment 2022 - Notification Details
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has published ISRO RA Recruitment 2022 notification for engagement of bright candidates with scientific aptitude to work as Research Associates (RA) at Space Applications Centre (SAC), Ahmedabad which is one of the lead Centres of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space (DOS). They will get opportunity to work in multi-disciplinary fields and project activities related to Natural Resources, Environment, Ocean, Atmosphere, Studies related to Planetary Sciences and Microelectronics/ VLSI. They will be engaged initially for ONE YEAR and is extendable for further period based on assessment of their work and requirement of project. The maximum period of engagement of Research Associate shall not exceed THREE years.

Emoluments & Other Benefits for Research Associates (RA) in ISRO
Candidates selected as Research Associates (RA) in ISRO will be given Research Associateship amount as per the details given below:-
- Research Associate – 1: ₹47000/- Per month + HRA
- Research Associate – 2: ₹49000/- Per month + HRA
- Research Associate – 3: ₹54000/- Per month + HRA
Medical benefits for self only will be allowed as per extant rules.

Educational Qualification / Eligibility Criteria for ISRO Research Associates (RA)
For being eligible for the post of Research Associates (RA) in ISRO, required qualifications are as follows:-
- Ph.D. in relevant subject.
AND
- Master of Science (M.Sc.) with First class with a minimum of 65% marks (aggregate of all semesters) or CGPA grading of 6.84 on a 10 Point scale.
Age Limit for ISRO Research Associates (RA)
The upper age limit for Research Associates (RA) as notified by ISRO is 35 years.
Age Relaxation for SC/ ST candidates is 05 years and for OBC candidates it is 03 years. Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Ex-Servicemen candidates are eligible for age relaxation as per Government of India norms.
Selection Process for RA in Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO)
Selection of candidates for the post of Research Associates (RA) in Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will be done through Personal Interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the Interview. Shortlisting of the candidates will be based on their academic records or performance in written test (if required).

Candidates are not required to pay any application fees for RA post in Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
