The age limit for the NHPC Draftsman Recruitment 2023 is up to 30 years. However, NHPC also provides age relaxation as per government guidelines. The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), and up to 15 years for PwBD – SC/ST candidates.
Additional relaxation applies for candidates domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir during 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989 and for Ex-servicemen.
Selection Process of Draftsman in NHPC
The selection process for the NHPC Draftsman Recruitment 2023 involves a Computer Based Online Test. After registering online and fulfilling all the necessary criteria, candidates will be provisionally allowed to appear for this test. The minimum qualifying marks are 40% for Gen./OBC/EWS and 35% for SC/ST/PwD. Based on the merit of the Online Test, successful candidates will be provided with a provisional “Offer of Appointment.”
