Salary / Pay Scale for Personal Assistant and Senior Personal Assistant in Delhi High Court
Candidates selected as Senior Personal Assistant in Delhi High Court will be appointed in the 8th Level of Pay matrix of 7th CPC (Group- ‘B’), whereas the candidates selected as Personal Assistant will be appointed in the 7th Level of Pay matrix of 7th CPC (Group- ‘B’).

In order to be eligible for the posts of Personal Assistant and Senior Personal Assistant in Delhi High Court, a candidate must possess requisite qualifications as mentioned below (as on 31.03.2023):-
- Personal Assistant: Graduate from a recognised University and having speed of not less than 100 w.p.m. in Shorthand (English) and 40 w.p.m. in Typewriting (English) on Computer with good working knowledge of Computer.
- Senior Personal Assistant: Graduate from a recognised University and having speed of not less than 110 w.p.m. in Shorthand (English) and 40 w.p.m. in Typewriting (English) on Computer with good working knowledge of Computer.
Age Limit Specified by Delhi High Court for Personal Assistant and Senior Personal Assistant Posts
As per the notification published by Delhi High Court, the age of the candidates should not be below 18 years and over 32 years (as on 01.01.2023) for being eligible for the posts of Personal Assistant and Senior Personal Assistant.
However, there will be relaxation in upper age limit for the candidates belonging to various reserved categories.

- English Typing Test
- English Shorthand Tests
- Main (Descriptive) Examination
- Interview
Out of the above four stages, English Typing Test is qualifying in nature. Final selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of merit of total marks obtained by them in English Shorthand Test, Main (Descriptive) Examination and Interview.

However, the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PwD categories will have to pay ₹800/- (Rupees Eight Hundred Only) along with applicable transaction charges.
