The pay scale for District / Information & Public Relations office (DIPRO) posts notified by the HPSC is Haryana Pay Matrix Level 08 – ₹ 47,600/- to ₹ 1,51,100/- [Old Pay Band ₹ 9,300/- to ₹ 34,800/- & G.P. ₹ 4,800/-] with Special Pay of ₹ 200/-.

Educational Qualification / Eligibility Criteria for HPSC DIPRO Recruitment

Master’s degree in Mass communication or Journalism from a recognised university and two years media experience in a National Daily Newspaper or Television channel or publicity organisation of Government or Undertaking or University;

M.A. (Hindi or English) from a recognised University and one year post Graduation Diploma in Mass communication or Journalism and two year media experience in a National Daily Newspaper or Television channel publicity Organisation of Government or public Undertaking or University;

Age Limit for HPSC DIPRO

For HPSC DIPRO Posts, candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 42 years, on or before the closing date (i.e. 12.12.2022).

Age relaxation for various reserved category candidates will be as per Government of Haryana Rules.

Selection Process for District / Information & Public Relations office (DIPRO) Post Notified by HPSC

Selection of candidates for District / Information & Public Relations office (DIPRO) in Haryana will be through Interview. However in the event of number of applications being large, HPSC will adopt short listing criteria to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable number by any or more of the following methods:-

On the basis of percentage of marks of the candidates in the essential/minimum educational qualification prescribed in the advertisement.
On the basis of percentage of marks of the candidates in different educational qualifications, with weightage as decided by the Commission.
On the basis of desirable qualifications or any one of the desirable qualifications if more than one desirable qualification is prescribed.
On the basis of higher educational qualifications than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
By holding a Recruitment Test. The candidate should, therefore, mention all his/her qualifications in the relevant field over and above the minimum qualifications.
