Salary / Pay Scale for HPSC Senior Medical Officer

Candidates selected as Senior Medical Officer in the ESI Health Care Department, Government of Haryana through HPSC will be placed in the Haryana Pay Matrix Level 12 – ₹ 78,800/- to ₹ 1,97,200/- [Old Pay Band ₹ 15,600/- to ₹ 39,100/- & G.P. ₹ 7,600/-].

Educational Qualification / Eligibility Criteria for HPSC Senior Medical Officer

For the post of Senior Medical Officer, notified by the HPSC, candidate must have following educational qualification –

M.D. or M.S. Degree or PG diploma recognized as such by MCI; and
Registered as Medical Practitioner with Medical Council of India or any other State Medical Council in Indian Union; and
Hindi or Sanskrit upto Matric standard or Higher Education.

Age Limit for HPSC Senior Medical Officer

Candidate should not be less than 32 years and not more than 45 years, on or before the last date of submission of application to the Commission i.e. 07.12.2022.

Age relaxation for various reserved category candidates will be as per Government of Haryana Rules.

Selection Process for Senior Medical Officer Recruitment by HPSC

Selection of candidates for Senior Medical Officer Posts by HPSC will be through Interview. However in the event of number of applications being large, Commission will adopt shortlisting criteria to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable number by any or more of the following methods:

On the basis of percentage of marks of the candidates in the minimum educational qualification prescribed in the advertisement.
On the basis of percentage of marks of the candidates in different educational qualifications, with weightage as decided by the Commission.
On the basis of desirable qualifications or any one or all of the desirable qualifications if more than one desirable qualification is prescribed.
On the basis of higher educational qualifications than the minimum,/essential qualification prescribed in the advertisement.
On the basis of higher experience in the relevant field than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
By counting experience before or after the acquisition of minimum/essential qualifications
By holding a Recruitment Test.

The candidate should, therefore, mention all his/her qualifications and experience in the relevant field over and above the minimum qualifications.
