Salary / Pay Scale for Sub Divisional Agricultural Officer in HPSC
Candidates selected by Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) for the post of Sub Divisional Agricultural Officer and equivalent in the Administrative Cadre (Group-B) will be appointed in the Pay Scale of ₹ 44,900 – 1,42,400/- in the Pay Matrix Level-7 of Government of Haryana.

Educational Qualification/ Eligibility Criteria for HPSC Sub Divisional Agricultural Officer
In order to be eligible for the post of Sub Divisional Agricultural Officer and equivalent in the Agriculture & Farmers Welfare Department of Haryana Government, a candidate must possess following essential qualifications mentioned by Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) –
- B.Sc (Honours) Agriculture and 2nd class M.Sc. in Agriculture from a recognized University.
- Must have studied Hindi or Sanskrit upto Matric Standard or 10+2/ B.A/ M.A. with Hindi as one of the subjects.
Age Limits Specified by HPSC for Sub Divisional Agricultural Officer Posts
The age limits (as on 01.03.2023) specified by HPSC for Sub Divisional Agricultural Officer and equivalent posts are as follows:
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 42 years
Relaxation in upper age limit for the candidates belonging to various reserved categories will be applicable as per Haryana Government norms.
Selection Process for HPSC Sub Divisional Agricultural Officer
Selection of the candidates for Sub Divisional Agricultural Officer and equivalent posts will be done through Interview.
However, in the event of number of applications being large, Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) will adopt shortlisting criteria to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview by conducting a Written Test/ Examination.
