Salary / Pay Scale for HPSC Veterinary Surgeon

Candidates selected as Veterinary Surgeon (Group-B) in Animal Husbandry and Dairying Department, Government of Haryana through HPSC will be placed in the Pay Scale of FPL 9 (53,100-167800/-).

Educational Qualification / Eligibility Criteria for HPSC Veterinary Surgeon (Group-B)

Essential Qualifications required for recruitment of Veterinary Surgeon (Group-B) as notified by HPSC are as follows-

Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from a recognized University or Institution;
Adequate Knowledge of Hindi.
Registered as Veterinary Practitioner with Haryana Veterinary Council or with any Veterinary Council in India or Indian Veterinary Council as required by Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984.

Age Limit for HPSC Veterinary Surgeon (Group-B)

Candidate should not be less than 22 years and not more than 42 years as on 01.07.2022.

The relaxation in maximum age for various categories will be applicable as per the rules of Government of Haryana.

Selection Process for Veterinary Surgeon (Group-B) by HPSC

Selection of the candidates for the post of Veterinary Surgeon (Group-B) by HPSC will be done through Interview. However, in the event of number of applications being large, Commission will adopt short listing criteria to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable number by any or more of the following methods:-

On the basis of percentage of marks of the candidates in the essential/ minimum educational qualification prescribed in the advertisement.
On the basis of percentage of marks of the candidates in different educational qualifications, with weightage as decided by the Commission.
On the basis of desirable qualifications or any one or all of the desirable qualifications if more than one desirable qualification is prescribed.
On the basis of higher educational qualifications than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
On the basis of higher experience in the relevant field than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
By counting experience before or after the acquisition of minimum/essential qualifications.
By holding a Recruitment Test.
The candidate should, therefore, mention all his/her qualifications and experience in the relevant field over and above the minimum qualifications.
