Salary / Pay Scale for Stenographer in ISRO
Stenographer Post in Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) carries the 7th Pay Matrix Level 04 (₹ 25,500/- to ₹ 81,100/-) [Old Pay Band ₹ 5200-20200/- and Grade Pay ₹ 2400/-]. Various allowances such as DA, HRA, TPT etc are also payable to Stenographers in ISRO.

Educational Qualification / Eligibility Criteria for ISRO Stenographer
Graduation with Minimum of 60% marks or CGPA of 6.32 on a 10 point scale as declared by any recognised University, with a pre-requisite condition that Graduation should have been completed within the stipulated duration of the course as prescribed by the University;
OR
Diploma in Commercial/Secretarial Practice with Minimum of 60% marks or CGPA of 6.32 on a 10-point scale as declared by any recognised Board/ University, with a pre-requisite condition that Diploma should have been completed within the stipulated duration of the course as prescribed by the University;
One-year experience as Steno-Typist/ Stenographer.
AND
A minimum speed of 60 w.p.m. in English Stenography;
Proficiency in the use of Computers.
Age Limit for ISRO Stenographer
The upper age limit for ISRO Stenographer is 28 years (31 years for OBC candidates and 33 years for SC/ST candidates, wherever posts are reserved).
Selection Process for Stenographer in Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO)
Selection of candidates for Stenographer Posts in Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will be through Written Test which will be conducted at eleven venues viz., Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Dehradun, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, New Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram.
Based on performance in the written test, candidates will be short-listed for skill test in the ratio of 1:5 (maximum) to the category-wise number of vacancies, with minimum of 10 candidates.

Application fee for ISRO Assistant is ₹ 100/-.
All Women/Scheduled Castes (SC)/ Scheduled Tribes (ST); Ex-serviceman [EX] and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates are exempted from payment of Application Fee.
