Candidates selected as Draftsman (Civil) in Jal Shakti Department, Government of Jammu and Kashmir will be appointed in the Pay Scale Level-4 (25,500 – 81,100).

Total vacancies notified by Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) for the post of Draftsman (Civil) in Jal Shakti Department are 105, out which 42 vacancies are in Jammu Division and 63 posts are in Kashmir Division.
Reservation of seats for the candidates belonging to different categories will be applicable in accordance with the provisions of the Jammu & Kashmir Reservation Rules, 2005 and as amended from time to time.

Candidates must possess two years Draftsman Training Course Certificate/ Diploma from any Government recognized Institute in order to be eligible for the post of Draftsman (Civil) in Jal Shakti Department, Government of Jammu & Kashmir.

Selection of the candidates for the post of Draftsman (Civil) in Jal Shakti Department, Government of Jammu & Kashmir will be made on the basis of merit obtained by candidates in Objective type, Multiple choice Questions based Written Examination.
Application Fees for JKSSB Draftsman Recruitment 2023
The candidates belonging to General/ UR category are required to pay an Application fee of ₹ 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only).
However, the candidates belonging to SC, ST, PWD and EWS categories will have to pay ₹ 400/- (Rupees Four Hundred only) as Application fees.
