Salary / Pay Scale for JKSSB Driver
Candidates selected as Driver-II in Jal Shakti Department, Government of Jammu and Kashmir will be appointed in the Pay Scale Level-2 (19,900 – 63,200).

Total vacancies notified by Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) for the post of Driver-II in Jal Shakti Department are 10 in the Divisional Cadre Kashmir.
Reservation of seats for the candidates belonging to different categories will be applicable in accordance with the provisions of the Jammu & Kashmir Reservation Rules, 2005 and as amended from time to time.
Educational Qualification/ Eligibility Criteria for JKSSB Driver
A candidate must have passed Matric (10th) and possess valid Hill Driving License in order to be eligible for the post of Driver-II in Jal Shakti Department, Government of Jammu & Kashmir.
Age Limit Specified by Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) for Driver-II Posts
The Maximum Age limit (as on 01.01.2023) specified by JKSSB for the post of Driver-II is 40 years.
Relaxation in upper age limit for the candidates belonging to various reserved categories will be applicable as per Jammu & Kashmir Government norms.
Selection Process for Driver Posts by JKSSB
Selection of the candidates for the post of Driver-II in Jal Shakti Department, Government of Jammu & Kashmir will be made on the basis of merit obtained by candidates in the Written Examination only.
However, the candidate shall have to qualify Driving Test to appear for Written Examination.
Application Fees for JKSSB Driver Recruitment 2023
The candidates belonging to General/ UR category are required to pay an Application fee of ₹ 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only).
However, the candidates belonging to SC, ST, PWD and EWS categories will have to pay ₹ 400/- (Rupees Four Hundred only) as Application fees.
