A candidate must have passed Matric (10th) and possess valid Hill Driving License in order to be eligible for the post of Driver-II in Jal Shakti Department, Government of Jammu & Kashmir.

The Maximum Age limit (as on 01.01.2023) specified by JKSSB for the post of Driver-II is 40 years.

Selection Process for Driver Posts by JKSSB
Selection of the candidates for the post of Driver-II in Jal Shakti Department, Government of Jammu & Kashmir will be made on the basis of merit obtained by candidates in the Written Examination only.
However, the candidate shall have to qualify Driving Test to appear for Written Examination.
Application Fees for JKSSB Driver Recruitment 2023
The candidates belonging to General/ UR category are required to pay an Application fee of ₹ 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only).
However, the candidates belonging to SC, ST, PWD and EWS categories will have to pay ₹ 400/- (Rupees Four Hundred only) as Application fees.
