Candidates selected as Panchayat Secretary in the Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Government of Jammu and Kashmir will be appointed in the Pay Scale Level-2 (19,900 – 63,200).

Selection of the candidates for the post of Panchayat Secretary in the Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Government of Jammu and Kashmir will be made on the basis of merit obtained by candidates in Objective type, Multiple choice Questions based Written Examination.
Application Fees for JKSSB Panchayat Secretary Recruitment 2023
The candidates belonging to General/ UR category are required to pay an Application fee of ₹ 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only).
However, the candidates belonging to SC, ST, PWD and EWS categories will have to pay ₹ 400/- (Rupees Four Hundred only) as Application fees.
