MPPSC Food Analyst and Drug Analyst Recruitment 2023 – Check Job Notification Details & Apply Online

In order to be eligible for the posts of Food Analyst and Drug Analyst, a candidate must possess below mentioned essential qualification.

Food Analyst:

Master’s Degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry or Microbiology or Dairy Chemistry or Food Technology, Food and Nutrition from a University established in India by the Law, 

OR 

Bachelor of Technology in Dairy/ Oil or a degree in Veterinary Sciences from a university established in India by law, 

OR

is an associate of the Institution of Chemists (India) by examination in the section of Food Analysts conducted by the Institution of Chemists (India) 

OR

any other equivalent qualification recognized and notified by the Central government for such purposes 

AND

has minimum three years experience in the analysis of food; 

AND

Has been declared qualified for appointment as a Food Analyst by a board appointed and notified by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India.

OR

any person who has been declared qualified for appointment as Public Analyst by the board constituted under Prevention of Food Adulteration Act, 1954.

AND

possess experience of testing of Food in a Notified laboratory from FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India).

Drug Analyst:

Post graduate in Medicine or Science or Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Chemistry of a (University established in India by the Law or has equivalent qualification recognized and notified by the Central Government.)

OR

posses associates Diploma with subject Analysis of Drug and Pharmaceuticals from the Institute of Chemist (India)

AND

after possesing the above post graduate degree/diploma posses three years experience in the testing of drugs in a Laboratory under the control of Government Analyst appointed in accordance with Drug and Cosmetics Act, 1940.

OR 

completed two years training on testing of drugs including items stated in schedule C of the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945 in Central Drugs Laboratory.
