Salary / Pay Scale for OPSC Lecturer (Technical Education)
Candidates selected by Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) for the post of Lecturer in Odisha Technical Education & Training Service Cadre (Group-B) will be appointed in Level-10 of the Pay Matrix as in ORSP Rules, 2017 with usual Dearness and other Allowances as may be sanctioned by the Government from time to time.

Educational Qualification/ Eligibility Criteria for OPSC Lecturer (Technical Education)
In order to be eligible for the post of Lecturer (Technical Education), the candidates must possess below mentioned education qualification, as specified by the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) –
- For the post of Lecturer in Civil Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering/ Computer Science & Engineering/ Automobile Engineering/ Chemical Engineering/ Metallurgy/ Mining Engineering: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology in the relevant discipline with First class or equivalent. If the candidate has a Master’s degree in Engineering/ Technology, First Class or equivalent is required at Bachelors or Masters level in the concerned disciplines.
- For the post of Lecturer in Mathematics/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Geology: First class Master’s Degree or equivalent in the relevant discipline.
Age Limit for Lecturer (Technical Education) by OPSC
The Age limit (as on 01.08.2022) declared by OPSC for Lecturer (Technical Education) posts are as follows:-
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 38 years
Relaxation in upper age limit for women and candidates belonging to various reserved categories will be applicable as per Odisha Government norms.
Selection Process for OPSC Lecturer (Technical Education)
The selection process determined by OPSC for the post of Lecturer in Odisha Technical Education & Training Service Cadre (Group-B) consists of the following two stages:-
- Written examination: 500 marks
- Interview (Personality Test): 50 marks
