Salary / Pay Scale for Office Assistant in Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited (OPTCL)
During the time spent in training, an Office Assistant Grade-III (Trainee) would receive a consolidated stipend that amounts to Rs. 12,000/- per month (this amount is subject to change).

Candidates applying for the position of Office Assistant in OPTCL must be between the ages of 21 (twenty one) and 32 (thirty two) as of January 1, 2023.
Relaxation for SC/ST/SEBC, Persons with Disabilities, Ex-Servicemen and Women:
- For SC, ST, and SEBC candidates, the upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years.
- For female candidates, the upper age limit is relaxed by 5 (five) years.
- For PwBD candidates, the upper age limit is relaxed by ten (10) years.
- Every ex-serviceman who has served in the Army/Navy/Air Force of the Union for at least six months continuous service may subtract the length of such service from his actual age, and if the resultant age does not exceed the maximum age limit, he is assumed to meet the age limit conditions.

A computer-based test (CBT) and a skill test are used in the selection process for Office Assistant in Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited (OPTCL).
Qualified candidates will be invited to take a computer-based test. Qualified candidates will be invited to take a computer-based test that will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from English (20%), Computer Application (15%), Mathematics (15%), Reasoning & Mental Ability (20%), General Awareness (10%), and Odia understanding (10%).
