PGCIL Officer Trainee (Law) Recruitment 2024 – Notification Summary

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL), a ‘Maharatna’ Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, is inviting applications for the position of Officer Trainee (Law) as part of its recruitment drive for 2024. This recruitment is specifically targeting bright and committed law graduates who will be selected through CLAT 2025 (for admission to Post-Graduation).

A total of 9 vacancies are available for this position. Candidates must possess a full-time LLB degree (either a three-year or five-year integrated course) with at least 60% marks or an equivalent CGPA. The upper age limit for applying is 28 years as of the last date of submission of the online application, with applicable relaxations for reserved categories.

Selected candidates will undergo a one-year training period as Officer Trainee (Law), after which they will be absorbed as Officers (Law) in the Executive Cadre (E2 level) with a pay scale of ₹50,000 – ₹1,60,000. During the training period, candidates will receive a stipend of ₹40,000 per month, along with other allowances. The selection process will include a qualifying score in CLAT 2025, followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
