Salary / Pay Scale for RSMSSB Community Health Officer (CHO)

Candidates selected as Community Health Officer (CHO) by RSMSSB will get a fixed monthly salary of  ₹ 25,000/-. 

Vacancy Details for RSMSSB Community Health Officer (CHO) Recruitment 2022

The Rajasthan Subordinate & Ministerial Services Selection Board (RSMSSB) has notified total 3531 vacancies of Community Health Officer (CHO) for the recruitment year 2022.

Out of these 3531 CHO Vacancies notified by the RSMSSB, 3071 Vacancies are for Non TSP area and 460 Vacancies are for TSP Area. 

Educational Qualification / Eligibility Criteria for RSMSSB CHO

Essential Qualification for RSMSSB CHO –

  • B.Sc. in Community Health “or”  Nurse (GNM or B.Sc) “or” Ayurveda Practitioner (BAMS) From a recognized university. And
  • Registered in respective Rajasthan Nursing Council /Board of Indian Medicine, Rajasthan.

And all candidate have to appear for a screening exam and short listed candidates:-

  • A. having Certificate in Community Health (CCH)/ B.Sc. in Community Health / B.Sc. Nursing with integrated Curriculum or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with integrated Curriculum will be posted on contractual post of CHO in SHC-H&WCs.
  • B. Who do not have certificate in Community Health (CCH)/B.Sc. in Community Health / B.Sc. Nursing with integrated Curriculum or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with integrated Curriculum have to pass the 6 Months bridge course successfully.
    • If Candidate is not successful in the Bridge Course in first attempt, he/she shall be given one more opportunity (at the willingness of candidate) and for this second opportunity the fees and other expenditure of Bridge Course shall be borne by candidate himself/herself.
    • If any candidate is not qualified even after availing second opportunity, such candidates shall not be considered for the contracual post of CHO.

Age Limit For RSMSSB Community Health Officer (CHO) Recruitment 2022

Candidate should be in the age group of 21-40 years as on 01.01.2023 for RSMSSB CHO Recruitment 2022.

Age relaxation for various reserved category candidates will be as per Rajasthan State Government Rules.
