Educational Qualification / Eligibility Criteria for OPSC Statistical Officer
For being eligible to apply for the post of Statistical Officer notified by the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) a candidate must be a Graduate having Honours in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Application, Statistics, Economics, Applied Economics, Agricultural Economics, Sociology or Econometrics or having a degree in Commerce with distinction as on 30.01.2023.
Age Limit for OPSC Statistical Officer
For OPSC Statistical Officer Recruitment 2022, a candidate must have attained the age of 21 (twenty-one) years and must not be above the age of 38 (Thirty-Eight) years as on the 1st day of January 2022 i.e., he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd January 1984 and not later than 1st January 2001.
Relaxation in the upper age limit for various reserved categories will be as follows:-
- Socially & Educationally Backward Classes (S.E.B.C.), Scheduled Caste (S.C.), Scheduled Tribe (S.T.), Women & Ex-Servicemen : 05 years
- Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates of UR category : 10 years
- PwD candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ SEBC categories : 15 years
Selection Process for Statistical Officer by OPSC
Selection of the candidates as Statistical Officer (Group-B) by OPSC will be done through Competitive Examination consisting of following two parts-
- Written Examination
- Viva Voce Test
