NMDC Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria

- Field Attendant (Trainee) (RS-01): Middle / 8th Pass or ITI.

NMDC Trainee Salary & Benefits 2025
Selected candidates will undergo an 18-month on-the-job training period.
Stipend During Training:
- Field Attendant (Trainee) RS-01: ₹18,000 (First 12 Months), ₹18,500 (Next 06 Months).
- Maintenance Assistant (Elect/Mech) (Trainee) RS-02: ₹18,000 (First 12 Months), ₹18,500 (Next 06 Months).
- Blaster Gr.-II, Electrician Gr.-III, Electronics Technician Gr.-III, HEM Mechanic Gr.-III, HEM Operator Gr.-III, MCO Gr.-III, QCA Gr.-III (Trainees) RS-04: ₹19,000 (First 12 Months), ₹19,500 (Next 06 Months).
Pay Scale on Regularization:
- Field Attendant (RS-01): ₹18,100-3%-31850.
- Maintenance Assistant (Elect/Mech) (RS-02): ₹18,700-3%-32940.

NMDC Selection Process 2025
The selection process will involve two stages:
- First Level Test:
- Field Attendant (Trainee): OMR Based Test.
- General Knowledge: 70 Marks.
- Numerical and reasoning ability: 30 Marks.
- Other Posts (Maintenance Assistant, Blaster, Electrician, etc.): Computer Based Test (CBT).
- Part I: Subject Knowledge (on specific trade): 30 Marks.
- Part II: General Knowledge: 50 Marks; Numerical and reasoning ability: 20 Marks.
- The maximum marks for the OMR/CBT will be 100.
- Question papers will be in Hindi & English for Kirandul and Bacheli Complexes. For Donimalai Complex, it will be in Hindi, English & Kannada.
- Field Attendant (Trainee): OMR Based Test.
- Second Level Test:
- Field Attendant (Trainee): Physical Ability Test (Qualifying in nature).
- Other Posts: Trade Test in respective trade (Qualifying in nature).
- The qualifying marks for the Second Level Test (out of 100) are:
- 40% for UR/EWS Candidates.
- 37% for OBC (NCL) Candidates.
- 30% for SC/ST/PwBD Candidates.
Important Points Regarding Selection:
- Candidates will be called for the 2nd level test in a 1:3 ratio based on their performance in the OMR/CBT, subject to reservation policy and securing minimum qualifying marks.
- Minimum qualifying marks in OMR/CBT: SC/ST/PwBD – 40 marks, OBC(NCL) – 45 marks, UR/EWS – 50 marks.
- Final selection is based on marks obtained in the OMR Based Test / Computer Based Test (CBT), subject to qualifying in the 2nd Level Test.
- Document verification will occur at the time of the 2nd level test.
