Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Nationality: Must be an Indian citizen.
- Domicile: For reservation benefits, candidates must be permanent residents of Bihar. The permanent address mentioned in the application will be considered for reservation purposes.
- Educational Qualification: A Postgraduate degree (MD/MS/DNB/MDS) in the concerned specialty from an institution recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) / Dental Council of India (DCI) is required. Candidates must ensure their degrees are updated in their NMC/State Medical Register registration certificate.
- Experience: Generally, three years of experience as a Senior Resident/Tutor in the relevant subject in a recognized/permitted medical college after obtaining the PG degree (MD/MS/DNB).
- For Dentistry (Advt No. 07/2025), three years of experience as Senior Resident/Registrar/Tutor in the relevant subject in a recognized/permitted Medical/Dental college after obtaining the MDS degree is required.
- Bihar Health Service cadre officers with a PG degree and minimum three years of teaching experience as Resident/Senior Resident/Tutor in MCI-recognized institutions are also eligible.
- Specific experience requirements or equivalencies apply for Sports Medicine and Emergency Medicine departments.

Selection Process
