Eligibility Criteria for Various Non Teaching Posts Notified by NIT Goa

Salary & Benefits
Selected candidates will be offered salaries based on the Pay Levels mentioned in the vacancy table, corresponding to the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) pay scales.
- Group A: Pay Level 10 (PB 3 & GP Rs. 5400/-)
- Group B: Pay Level 06 (PB 2 & GP Rs. 4200/-)
- Group C: Pay Level 01, 03, 04 (PB 1 & GP Rs. 1800/-, 2000/-, 2400/- respectively)
Allowances and other benefits will be applicable as per NIT norms and Government of India rules. Selected candidates will be on probation for one year.
Selection Process of Various Non Teaching Posts Notified by NIT Goa
The selection process may involve multiple stages:
- Stage 1: Screening Test: A multiple-choice based written examination (90 minutes) covering General Aptitude (GK, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, General Ability, Computer Fundamentals) and Domain-Specific knowledge (Technical or Ministerial). Negative marking (1/4th mark) applies.
- Stage 2: Skill Test: Candidates shortlisted from Stage 1 (in a ratio of 1:10, subject to change) will appear for a Skill Test, which is qualifying in nature.
- Final Merit List: Prepared based on the scores obtained in Stage 1 by candidates who qualify in Stage 2.
- Document Verification: Original documents will be verified at the time of selection.
