Salary / Pay Scale for OSSC Accountant (Group-B)
Candidates selected as Accountant (Group-B) will be placed in the Pay Scale of (₹ 35,400 – 1,12,400) under the Pay-Matrix Level-9 of Odisha Government as notified by Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC).

Educational Qualification / Eligibility Criteria for OSSC Accountant (Group-B)
Candidates, in order to be eligible for appearing in the selection examination organised by OSSC for the post of Accountant (Group-B), must have the following essential qualification.
- Passed Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline (B.A. / B.Com./ B.Sc./ B.E./ B.Tech.) from a recognized university.
- Have computer knowledge such as proficiency in the use of Computer Internet, e-mail, Word Processing, data analysis, and presentation.
Age Limit for Accountant (Group-B) Posts Notified by Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC)
The minimum age limit for OSSC Accountant post is 21 years and the maximum age is 38 years as of 01.01.2022.
Relaxation in the upper age limit will be applicable as per the details given below:-
- 05 years for candidates belonging to SEBC, SC, ST and all Women candidates.
- 10 years for candidates belonging to the PwD category.
- For Ex-servicemen candidates, it will be total period of service rendered in defence service.
- In case of PwD candidates in the ST and SC categories, they shall be entitled to cumulative age relaxation of ten years over and above the normal relaxation specified for the category.
However, a candidate who comes under more than one category shall be eligible for only one benefit of age relaxation as per the rule which will be more beneficial to him/ her.
Selection Process for Regular Teacher Posts Notified by OSSC
The competitive examination organised by Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) for selection of candidates for the post of Accountant shall comprise of following three stages:
- Stage-I: Preliminary Examination
- Stage – II: Main Examination
- Stage -III: Certificate Verification
