Eligibility Criteria for IPR Apprentice Roles
Candidates must meet the specific educational qualifications and other criteria outlined below:
- Educational Qualification:
- Graduate Apprentices: Must possess a B.E./B.Tech degree in the relevant engineering discipline (Computer, Civil, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical, Instrumentation & Control) or a Graduate degree (B.Com/B.A./B.B.A.) for the General Stream.
- Technician Apprentices: Must hold a Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline (Computer, Civil, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical, Instrumentation & Control).
- Year of Passing: Candidates must have passed their qualifying Degree/Diploma in or after 2023. Those who passed in 2022 or earlier are not eligible.
- Prior Training/Experience: Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training elsewhere are not eligible. Candidates with job experience are also generally not considered for apprenticeships under the Act.
- NATS Registration: Candidates must have a valid registration number on the NATS portal before applying.

Salary & Benefits: Stipend Details

Important Note: This is a training program. IPR is not obligated to offer regular employment to apprentices after the training completion. No accommodation will be provided; apprentices must arrange their own. No TA/DA is provided for document verification or joining.
Selection Process for IPR Apprenticeship
The selection process for the IPR Apprentice Training will be based purely on merit.
- Merit List: Selection will be determined based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying Degree/Diploma examination.
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification. Candidates must produce necessary certificates, including CGPA to Percentage conversion formulas if applicable.
- Medical Fitness: Final engagement is subject to medical fitness.
