Eligibility Criteria for NHDC Junior Officer

Candidates must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the Junior Officer position:

  • Educational Qualification (Essential):
    • Must be a Graduate.
    • Must possess an English Typewriting speed of 40 words per minute (wpm).
    • Working knowledge of computers, including MS Office and internet usage, is essential.
  • Educational Qualification (Desirable):
    • Knowledge of Hindi Typewriting is preferred.
  • Post Qualification Experience:
    • Minimum of 3 years of typing experience is required.
    • This experience should be in a Government Department, Public Sector Undertaking (State/Central), or a Private Sector organization of repute.
  • Age Limit:
    • Candidates should not exceed 25 years of age.
    • The cut-off date for considering age and experience is April 15, 2025.
    • Age relaxation for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS/Ex-Servicemen) will be as per Government directives. Former departmental candidates may also have age relaxation under special circumstances.

Salary and Benefits for NHDC Junior Officer

Selected candidates for the Junior Officer post will receive the following compensation and benefits:

  • Pay Scale: Rs. 20,000 – Rs. 70,000 
  • Gross Pay: Approximately Rs. 42,320 per month (calculated at the minimum of the basic pay). This includes Basic Pay + IDA + HRA + CA.
  • Other Benefits: In addition to the gross pay, admissible benefits include Provident Fund, NPS, Gratuity, Leave Encashment, Conveyance Loan, etc., as per the Corporation’s rules.
  • Appointment Basis: The appointment will be on a regular basis. Selected candidates will initially be placed on probation for one year.

NHDC Junior Officer Selection Process

The selection process for the Junior Officer position will consist of the following stages:

  1. Typewriting Test: Candidates will undergo a typewriting test. Outstation candidates called for the typing test are eligible for To & Fro AC 3 Tier travel reimbursement upon producing proof of journey.
  2. Group Discussion: Following the typing test, there will be a group discussion.
  3. Document Verification: Candidates selected provisionally will need to undergo verification of character, antecedents, and submitted documents. They also need to meet the required medical standards and provide a fitness certificate. Original testimonials, photos, salary certificates, and experience certificates must be brought during the selection process.

Note: The typewriting test and group discussion will be held at the NHDC Ltd. Registered & Corporate Office in Noida only. NHDC reserves the right to shortlist candidates if a large number of applications are received.
