Eligibility Criteria for RSSB Patwari Recruitment 2025
Candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria regarding educational qualifications and age limits before applying.
Educational Qualification
To be eligible for the Patwari post, a candidate must have:
- CET Qualification: Must have been declared qualified in the Common Eligibility Test (Graduate Level) – 2024conducted by RSSB.

- A degree in any stream of Engineering and Technology.
- Rajasthan State Certificate course in Information Technology (RS-CIT) conducted by Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, Kota under the control of Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited.
- Senior Secondary Certificate with Computer Science/Computer Application as one of the subjects.
- Any equivalent or higher qualification recognized by the Government.
- Language Proficiency: Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture.
Note: Candidates appearing in the final year of their qualifying examination are also eligible to apply, but they must provide proof of having acquired the qualification before the date of the Patwari examination.

Selected candidates will be appointed on a probation period of two years.

The application process is entirely online. Candidates who have already applied in response to the original notification dated 20.02.2025 do not need to apply again. New candidates who are eligible after qualifying the CET-2024 can apply.

- Visit the Official Portal: Go to the RSSB recruitment website or the SSO portal.
- Login to SSO: Log in using your SSO ID and password. If you don’t have one, register first.
- One-Time Registration (OTR): If you haven’t completed the OTR process, you must do so first by providing your basic details and paying the OTR fee. Candidates who have already paid the OTR fee do not need to pay again.

Note on Penalties: The board has introduced a new penalty system. If a candidate does not appear in any two exams conducted by RSSB or other state agencies in a financial year (April 1 to March 31), their OTR will be blocked. It can be unblocked by paying a penalty of ₹750 for the first time and ₹1500 for the second time.
