Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill the specific educational qualifications and age limits for each post, along with general eligibility conditions.
General Eligibility:
- Must be a citizen of India. (Or Tibetan refugee/person of Indian origin migrated from specific countries as per rules ).
- Must possess a registration certificate from an Employment Office in Uttarakhand state by the application closing date, OR
- Must hold a Domicile/Permanent Resident Certificate of Uttarakhand, OR
- Must have passed High School and Intermediate (or equivalent) from recognized institutions within Uttarakhand. (Exceptions apply for certain government employees and residents living outside for livelihood/study ).

- Assistant Accountant (Multiple Departments & UPTCL):
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) OR Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) OR Post Graduate in Accountancy from a recognized university.
- Typing: Hindi typing speed of 4000 key depressions per hour (KPDH).
- Age Limit: 21 to 42 years (as of July 1, 2025).
- Record Keeper-cum-Store Keeper (Uttarakhand Information Commission):
- Education: Intermediate (12th) pass in Commerce stream from a recognized board.
- Typing: Hindi typing speed of 4000 KPDH.
- Age Limit: 18 to 42 years (as of July 1, 2025).
- Office Assistant III (Accounts) (UPTCL):
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) from a recognized university with knowledge of Hindi (Devanagari script). Minimum one-year Diploma/Certificate in Computer Course from a recognized institute.
- Typing: Minimum Hindi typing speed of 6000 KPDH and minimum English typing speed of 7000 KPDH.
- Age Limit: 21 to 42 years (as of July 1, 2025).
- Cashier/Data Entry Operator (UBTER):
- Education: Intermediate (12th) pass in Commerce (with Accountancy as a subject) from Uttarakhand/UP Board or equivalent.
- Typing: Hindi typing speed of 4000 KPDH.
- Age Limit: 18 to 42 years (as of July 1, 2025).
Age Relaxation: Applicable for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC – 5 years, PwD – 10 years, Dependents of Freedom Fighters – 5 years, Ex-Servicemen – as per rules ) as per Uttarakhand government norms.

Salary & Benefits
The selected candidates will be offered salaries according to the following pay scales:

These are non-gazetted posts, mostly temporary but likely to be permanent, with a contributory pension scheme applicable. Other allowances and benefits will be as per Uttarakhand Government rules.
Selection Process
The selection process for these UKSSSC posts will primarily involve:
- Written Examination: A 100-mark objective-type (Multiple Choice Questions) competitive examination will be conducted.
- Mode: Offline (OMR based) or Online (CBT).
- Duration: 2 hours.
- Syllabus: Based on the relevant educational qualification for the post (Refer to Appendix-01 in the official notification).
- Qualifying Marks: Minimum 45% for General/OBC candidates and 35% for SC/ST candidates.
- Negative Marking: 1/4th (0.25) mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. No marks deducted for unanswered questions.
